NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


The Town of Dungannon will conduct a public hearing on June 3, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., at the Dungannon Town Hall, 18933 Veterans Memorial Highway, Dungannon, to solicit public input on a proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) proposal to be submitted to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development for the Dungannon Comprehensive Water Improvements Phase II project. The proposed project will involve the rehabilitation of selected water lines and related appurtenances within the Town. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.


The draft CDBG proposal or a fact sheet will be presented for comment along with information on projected beneficiaries, including the number of low- and moderate-income residents to benefit from the proposed project, and plans to minimize displacement. Citizens will also be given an opportunity to comment on Dungannon’s past use of CDBG funds. A fact sheet on the project will also be available at LENOWISCO Planning District Commission, Duffield, Virginia. Dungannon, to solicit public input on a proposed Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG) proposal to be submitted to the Virginia Department of Housing and
Community Development for the Dungannon Water Line Replacement project. The
proposed project will involve replacement of selected water lines and related
appurtenances within the Town. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.

Dungannon, to solicit public input on local community development and housing needs
in relation to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for a project in the
Town.

Information on the amount of funding available, the requirements on benefit to low- and
moderate-income persons, eligible activities, and plans to minimize displacement and
provide displacement assistance, as necessary, will be available. Citizens will also be
given an opportunity to comment on Dungannon’s past use of CDBG funds. All
